Product Description

Philips Avent Natural 4 Ounce Glass Bottle is the most natural way to bottle feed. The wide, breast-shaped nipple promotes natural latch-on so you can easily combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding, and the unique comfort petals provide an extra soft, flexible nipple without nipple collapse. In addition, the anti-colic newborn-flow nipple releases air back into the bottle rather than into your baby's tummy to help newborns feed comfortably and easily. The ergonomic shape makes it comfortable for parents to hold and easy for small fingers to grasp. Assembly is simple, with only a few parts, and the wide bottle neck makes filling and cleaning easy. This Natural Philips Avent bottle is made of premium quality borosilicate glass, a BPA free material, and is printed using organic ink and made from only virgin raw materials, to ensure the highest quality for ultimate purity. It is heat and thermal shock resistant, so it can be safely stored in the fridge, warmed and is easy to wash and sterilize. Works with all nipples and caps from the Natural line. To prevent leaks, check to make sure the plastic screw ring has not been over-tightened on the bottle. The bottle is screwed tight enough when you feel some resistance when attaching the screw ring to the bottle. At that point, please stop. Over tightening the screw ring may lead to damage.

Tried a lot, the babe prefers these.
**First, it's worth mentioning that these bottles come with size 2 nipples. I'm not sure if i read that in the product description.**I've spent the last 2 months working to bottle train my second baby (she's 4 months,) and this is the bottle/nipple top she finally accepted. That said, to any parent out there struggling with bottle acceptance, hang in there. And there is no magic bullet. It took 50 days of rejection to get her to accept bottles, but it was totally worth it. I can now leave for more than 2-3 hours without worrying she'll get hungry/angry.That said, here's a pic of the bottles we tried: Avent Natural (the winner,) Dr Browns (what my toddler son preferred as a baby,) Comotomo (heard some babies like grabbing the soft bottle,) Lansinoh, Medela (both are cheap and well reviewed,) and the Mimijumi (the Rolls Royce of bottles, with a texture/color more "boob-like" and ridiculously priced.) Our baby was willing to tolerate playing with the Mimijumi in her mouth, so that's what we initially focused on. After weeks of daily bottle sessions she finally drank a bottle of Mimijumi. After a few days, however, she stopped and refused it. Out of desperation I tried the Avent because it happened to be close by, and hallelujah, she took it, and has consistently since then. (Prefers nipple size 1.) I really like that the bottle comes in plastic or glass, 4 or 8 oz. I also haven't had leaking issues or nipple collapse, and it's easier to clean than the Dr Browns were (less parts.) Happy mama, happy baby, happy family.Bottom line: there's no magic bullet bottle of your baby is bottle averse. Buy a few, narrow it down to one or two your baby will tolerate playing with in their mouth, and then work at it. Like sleep training, potty training, etc., it's a process. And don't let people scare you with "my baby never took a bottle." That may be true, but it is also probably true that the parents who tell you that eventually had to decide where their priorities were, and fighting over a bottle ultimately didn't make the cut, and for plenty of families that is probably just fine. For me, it was important to know my baby would accept milk when I'm not around, so I worked my butt off to get her to take one. know which battles are worth fighting for you and your family, and which ones aren't, and don't let people discourage you with their anecdotal stories!Hang in their, parents! Also, resist the urge to buy $200 worth of different bottles like I did, haha. This gets frustrating and expensive. Once I narrowed it down to one or two bottles she seemed willing to entertain, we focused on those and it was much easier than rotating through a dozen different bottles!
